The cottage was beautifully refurbished and had comfortable furnishings. The garden was a delightful space to relax in, with a separate studio as an additional bonus. The location was perfect, right in the center and within walking distance to plenty of dining options. The beds were super comfy and the shower was fantastic. I would definitely stay here again.
The staircase to the first floor was steep with shallow steps, which may be difficult for some guests. There was some traffic noise from the road.

The towels provided were so absorbent, I could practically wring out the entire bathroom with just one. Truly a marvel of modern technology.
Oh, how I missed the refreshing scent of airport air and the delightful chaos of traffic noise.

We recently stayed at a lovely little house on 21 Pound Street and it was a wonderful experience. The house had a charming rear garden room where we enjoyed our meals, especially thanks to the good heater provided. The central location was perfect, with a big car park right at the rear of the property, allowing us easy access to everything in Petworth, including the beautiful Petworth House. The abundance of good restaurants and interesting shops made our stay even more enjoyable.
One thing to consider is that the stairs in the property are only suitable for the able-bodied, so this might be a drawback for some. Additionally, there was some traffic noise from the road, but it wasn't too bothersome.

Breakfast items could have been better with a table inside the property for eating.
